Blue Whole April Show

The work previously on my blog is in the window at  Blue Whole  for April. It's a big project to set up the window but I had wonderful help from members of Blue Whole, Karin Anderson in particular who has  real ability  with display design.  One of the many advantages of being in a co-op gallery is working together to make the gallery a success.

Grown Together

Grown Together
Suggestive abstract work draws  on  realistic painitings to express feelings and moods about life . Grown Together could mean the tightness of a family, the strength of woking together or the branching out as single parts become individual idenities.

Selective Vision

The "viewer" is important to the maker of the art especially with abstract painting which many people have  difficulty enjoying.  I had some difficulty finding a title, tried Bulwark (Wall)  pretty boring, but titles open ideas to begin to understand abstract paintings.  At the opening on First Friday at Blue Whole people made some great suggestions.   I liked Selective Vision which encourages the viewer to find his own vision.

COUPLES

KLIMT'S KISS
Figures  have become a special pleasure, recognizable in the work of may artists.  There are so many express to work with  -greetings, love, friendship, condolences understanding, etc,  etc..

In past posts of Lady Sara and the other Ladies that idea started the thoughts about the couples .  What a great open door  to expressions in clay
